The Clearing is celebrating 90 years

"Feel free to stop in if you’re in the area! The Jens Jensen Visitor Center is open 7 days a week, Monday through Friday, 8-4, Saturday 8:30-4 and Sunday noon 4. Trails can be hiked during Open House hours only: Saturday and Sunday noon to 4, as we now have retreat students in residence Monday – Friday. Docent-led tours are also available starting at 1pm, Saturdays and Sunday through October from the Jens Jensen Visitor Center. Thank you for being courteous to our paying guests and only access the campus area during Open House hours.

We’re very proud of 2025 being The Clearing’s 90th anniversary! So many of you and others have contributed to this place of lifelong learning and renewal. Thank you!We also are asking for assistance in larger property projects via The Clearing’s annual Pass the Hat Fundraiser. We are always excited to be a part of protecting Jens Jensen’s legacy by continuing to invest in building and grounds projects that are more than regular maintenance.
